In this series of six workshops designed especially for writers, audio producer Chris Gregory explores the wide range of opportunities for writers to get their work broadcast, and use audio media to promote themselves.
We’ll take a tour through some of the different types of audio, from drama to fiction and poetry made specifically for listening audiences, and look at the writing techniques you’ll need to learn in order to flourish in these areas. We’ll explore opportunities for working in audio, and making audio work for you.
With industry professionals, including actors and writers, joining us to share their extensive audio experience, our workshops will inform, entertain and inspire attendees to have a go at getting into the world of audio.
Included in the series is access to material developed by Chris Gregory at Alternative Stories, including their podcast series on creating audio drama.
The workshops can be booked individually, or as a block of six at a discounted rate (by booking through this page). For full details on each workshop, or to book just that one, please click on the links below.
All workshops will take place live via Zoom (with recordings available afterwards) at 7pm (UTC+0) on Tuesday evenings.
