Live Online: Capturing the Moment: Nature Writing with Stephen Moss

Online //

11th September
10am-1pm

Write a short piece based on a single encounter with the natural world.

In this practical live Zoom workshop, one of Britain’s best nature writers Stephen Moss will demonstrate how to write a short piece based on a single encounter with the natural world. Guided by examples of published nature writing, he will help you identify how to capture the right moment in nature, with truth and accuracy.

The workshop will involve a critical review of examples in this genre, a short writing task, and an opportunity to workshop some of the writing produced during the session amongst the group.

This course will be held on Zoom for 3 hours, starting at 10am and ending at 1pm on Saturday 11th September.

After booking, and closer to the date of the workshop, you will receive a Zoom link by email. This is a live online event only, and will not be recorded. To take part, you will need a computer or smart device and reliable internet connection.
