Are you struggling with your writing, or wanting to write but don’t know where to start? This Masterclass will consider the blocks that get in the way of our own creativity and consider our relationship to language which is at the heart of the work all writers do. How to we tap into the subjects that are right for us? How do we know which project to pursue? And how to we get out of our own way so that we can write fluently about the subjects that will inspire and satisfy us? Offering some practical advice, close reading, and an opportunity to try some exercises this workshop will help to refresh and renew your practice, whether fiction or non-fiction and if you’re starting out encourage you to get going.
The session will be a mixture of exercise, example, and discussion. It will be held on Zoom for 2.5 hours, starting at 11am and ending at 1.30pm UTC+1 on Saturday 16th September 2023.
